This is a vintage Henri D'Arceau & Fils Limoges collector's plate from the "Noël Vitrail" (Christmas Stained Glass) series, specifically plate number 1, titled "La Fuite en Égypte" (The Flight into Egypt), dated 1975.

As noted on the back, this is the very first edition of the "Noël Vitrail" series. The artwork by André Restieau beautifully replicates a vibrant stained-glass window style, featuring Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus fleeing on a donkey, surrounded by an intricate floral mosaic border.

The current market value for the 1975 Henri D'Arceau & Fils Limoges "La Fuite en Égypte" plate generally ranges between $10 and $30.

Because these plates were produced in relatively large quantities during the collector plate boom of the 1970s, their value heavily depends on completeness:

  • Plate Only: Typically sells on the lower end, around $10 to $15.

  • With Original Box & Certificate: Can command the higher end of the spectrum, around $20 to $30+, especially to a collector looking for pristine, verified sets.
