This is a vintage Boy Scouts of America (BSA) neckerchief slide, likely from the 1940s or 1950s.

It is constructed from cast pot metal featuring an oxidized, dark grey patina.

A number "2" is molded onto the back, hidden underneath the fastener loop.

The slide holds the scout neckerchief together and is sometimes referred to as a "woggle"
